Background: Back in the early 90's at Epcot in Disneyworld, one of the Communicores used to have a "Man of the Century" voting booth. You'd go through this whole spiel, and be expected to vote from the great figures of the 20th Century. Well, I would have none of that. Every time I had the chance, I wrote in a vote for "Alf". It eventually became an extended in-joke with a couple of my friends, leading to this strip (and the next one).
