Background: The Bryan Center, Duke's student center, was built in an "artistic" fashion. All of the weird design, particularly on the top floor, made it a rather difficult place to hang out, so no one did.
At some point (see Related Article), the University became concerned about it, and tried to figure out how to fix the "problem". I was skeptical.
Anyway, see for yourself the future of the past. I'm so glad I picked Blockbuster Music as a store for the "future" Bryan Center. (They were all bought by Wherehouse Music in the late 90's.) And, while it was "new" at the time, does anybody still call it "snail mail"?
